Dentures
We believe that no two mouths are alike, and in this respect, no two dentures should be identical. The dentures we create are handcrafted and custom-made. Our denture technicians work to produce dentures that are perfect for your needs—one that fits your appearance and the way you speak, bite or chew.
We have a variety of denture types to choose from, with a wide range of shapes, shades, colors and translucency. The end result? A smile you are proud of because of dentures that exceed your expectations.
Denture Facts and Myths: Here are some common misconceptions about dentures and the real facts about them:
Denture Myth: My dentures are permanent and fixed for life.
Denture Fact: The American Dental Association suggests that dentures be replaced every 5 to 7 years. Just like natural teeth that stain and wear down over the years, it’s the same thing with dentures. Also, your jaw bone and the tissue in your mouth change over the years. Thus, the dentures need to be adjusted and rebased periodically to continue to fit securely and comfortably.
Denture Myth: After receiving my dentures, I do not need to visit my dentist.
Denture Fact: We recommend that you see your dentist at least once a year for corrective measures. You also need to visit the dentist for any irritation or sore spots in your gums, no matter how minor they seem.
Denture Myth: Dentures will not allow me to eat foods like corn on the cob or apples.
Denture Fact: Although it can take some getting used to, do not be discouraged. Your dentures are only a substitute to your natural teeth, but in time, you will be able to master the art of chewing and biting using your dentures. Your oral tissues and facial muscles will be able to adapt quicker than you think.
Getting That New Smile: We want your transition to dentures to be as comfortable and easy as possible. We do the best we can to give you a fast service and comfortable fit. If you need a denture repair or adjustment, it can be done while you wait.
